extension problems
It says extenstions are not permitted on workshop, and I have a question about it.

1. Could anyone tell me why? I'm guessing it's the security matter, but I'm not sure.

2. Is it possible to disable extensions so that I can upload my games on workshop without deleting it, or I have no choice but either give up workshop or extenstions?

Then you have something in your code for a specific extension. Try to remove that code. http://bugs.yoyogames.com/view.php?id=7043 for a better explanation.:SocialPolicy:

I think what you are describing are file extensions. File extensions and GameMaker extensions are completely different things. An extension in GameMaker adds actions, events, and code that you can use. They have all different sorts of uses that existing actions/code can't do alone, and they're made by the community.

As for why you can't use them, it's probably a matter of security. Since you can make a custom action perform malicious activity, they'd rather you just don't put them in.
