Skyrim won't play [SOLVED] (Launcher Looping)
Basically, here's the short of it. When I launch Skyrim, a menu pops up, a small window that has 5 options; Play, Options, Data files, Tech support and Exit.

Now my problem is when I click play, that menu closes, a steam window opens saying "preparing to launch Skyrim" and then the exact same menu pops back up. No game.

I've installed some mods to the game using NMM, yet before I installed these mods the game had launched fine. I'm not sure what the problems is but there's no crash it seems, I've tried disabling all the mods in the data files, to no avail. Any help is much appreciated :/

You need to make sure of the requirements of your mods.

IE: Do they require, SKSE? SkyUI? Any or all of the LEGENDARY DLC's? Unlimited Bookshelves? Cloud Storage? Special Skeleton Mod? etc .....
EDIT: So I've since discovered the solution, which was that I needed to run the Skryim Launcher found in Programme files > Steam > SteamApps > Skyrim. As this is fixed I no longer need help,b ut rather than delete this thread I'll leave it here on the off chance that anyone else has issues with their Launcher looping.

Thank you for the input jjb-54, After resolving this issue I did find that my SkyUI was having issues, and your comment allowed me to fix that, narrowing down the solutions and figuring out that the mod required Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) so thank you for the comment, it helped me none-the-less.
