1. High polygon modelling, to create a version of your object.
2. A low polygon version that is unwrapped for in game use. The low poly version will have maps,that were created from the high polygon detail,that fake light and physical details on to the low poly model.
3. You will need to create within photoshop, images used to make the item look the way you want in game. The diffuse image gives the object color information and some shadow. The Normal image fakes physical detail on to the low polygon model that is not there. The specular image will add glossiness and the appearance of reflection on the model.
4. once you make it all,you follow Torn Banners guide to how to add it in game.
5. Then you submit it.
