request a mod controller config.

im having a lot of trouble trying to get my controller companon to work properly.
running into a lot of bad luck, and possably viruses. becuase i did not have the proper tech to extract files. there is only one game i want to play in my lybrary and that is.

thief deadly shadows.
its a classic game that i have loved for years. i have tried using the controller companon app to acheive this but im having so many issues with the installing or extracting prosses that i end up giving up and at that point start to think really irrational and want the throw my controller at the wall lol. i know i cant do that over this one little thing. but it gets that frustrating for me.

So the game runs multiple .exe file when you start it?

I meant I didn't understand what you meant by extract files.

after i launch x360ce to get to the bindings page. i get an error and cant do anything after that.
is there something i am missing?

you should not be extracting any files. Just have steam install it for you

i did that. but it would seem that some of the files are missing to run the program properly.
and the website i went to says i need to download the mappings for x360ce and this is the file i need to extract to get it running. but even after that it still dosent seem to work. i dont know what to do anymore. iv kinda lost intrest.
