Force lever pull mod?

Is there a mod out there that forces the nearest dwarf (Or a selected dwarf) to pull a lever? I find that unless I have a hilariously long draw-bridge, the time-to-get to the lever and then time-to-activate typically means enemies have either already perished, or passed safely over the bridge.

There is a DFHack command that will allow the player to pull a lever (i.e. allows you to switch the position of a lever without having to have a dwarf do it).

Otherwise, I've seen advice about where to put levers to minimize the distance a dwarf will have to travel after taking the job. The advice boils down to putting levers in places where there will be a lot of idle dwarves -- inns, guildhalls, etc.
