Mod Request: Better Sensors
I've noticed playing MW5 that the sensors in this game are kind of awful, bad enough that it may be resulting in why the AI has such erratic nearly braindead behavior. Visual Detection radius is like 800 meters for direct line of sight, even though many weapons can hit targets far further away. Auto-detect range is something like 250m, which is in spitting distance for most mech weapons, whereas it should be closer to 400-600 meters. Target locks are lost within 1-2 seconds, which causes the AI to forget who they're fighting the second a building or bit of geometry gets in the way. Hoping someone may be able to create a mod that could fix the issue.

working on it. trying to find a easy way to do it. but it seems like mechs all have different sensor ranges.

Yeah they do have different ranges. I could see that adding time to such a mod.

Appreciated, the sensors in the game are pretty bad and I've noticed that if you equip an AI with a BAP they tend to perform better so I'm strongly suspecting the very conservative implementation of sensors might have to do with the AI being bad.
