Hello modders! I have a simple request, I've seen the modding pages on the wikis, Ive seen the few videos on modding from a couple years ago. We need a comprehensive video guide for dummies who want to try modding (like myself) but can't wrap their heads around a dry text page.

(This may be a thing already, youtube algorithm is kinda a ♥♥♥♥♥ and hides things from all of us.)

Personally, I understand the base base base Idea of what to do, but if you asked me how I'd be clueless. If we had a more current video resource, walking through step by step the basic things; Custom Spells, Custom Wand Sprites, Custom Skins and Character Perks.

And then maybe some of the more intermediate things; On Screen Button and Menu Additions, BASIC BASIC Lua scripts and how they work, How the source code works in tandom with Mods, making mods Friendly for use with Other mods, things like changing character floor detection to give the MC wheels like a minecart.

Personally I want to make a Full Conversion Character mod that turns you into a spider tank from Ghost in the Shell, and If I had the resources like I described, I would be able to do it. But Personally I can't figure it out.

This is probably gonna get buried pretty quick, or flamed to death, I just saw and played that 40k mod and it inspired me to try myself.
