It's been awhile since I have done any model work, but try putting the texture files in the same directory as the model before importing it.

If that doesn't work, loading it into blender and exporting it as FBX with Path Mode set to Copy might work. In that case, it will create a folder with the textures in it that should get imported too. If not, copying the folder to the imported directory (%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\PillowCastle\SuperliminalSteam\UGC\Models\[random letters and numbers]) should make it work.

If FBX isn't working either, you can try exporting it as gITF 2.0, with the Format set to gITF Binary. This will create a single file with all the textures in it and that SHOULD work.

It's weird cus it works until you save it. I'll try and change file format. gltf work for me with a different model that was really luminous for some reason had uvmap and manually texture it and eventually gltf worked. Took an unhealthy amount of time to figure out, at least you don't have to restart the game every time you want to change a model.

I think the reason it might work until you save it is due to the paths for the textures being set wrong for the model. If, say, the path is "/textures/whatever.png", it'll load it fine, but when saved, it doesn't copy the texture files in that folder, just in the same folder the model is in. So the path stays as "/textures/whatever.png" but the texture is now just "/whatever.png".

Again, it's been forever since I messed with level editor stuff, so it's all a blur. I should have written the stuff down/made a guide or something back when it was all fresh.
