Are you looking in arena mode? I'm pretty sure playlists don't show up as story unless they have 9 classic, 5 challenge and a secret level.

I'm pretty ure, I even subscribe to a 9 level playlist and it still didn't show up for me in the subscriptions

I'm having the same problem! After subscribing to playlists I can't seem to access them in-game through Furbottom's Features -> Community Theater. Same with my own playlist

For playlists that don't follow the blow guidelines, they show up in arena

A full solo playlist must have...

• 9 Adventure levels
  
• 5 Timed levels (2 for finale, 3 for encore)
  
• 1 Secret level

Levels that don't have the above, will show up in the "ARENA" selection for the community levels.

For arena playlists

• Must have at least three arena levels in a playlist.
  
• Can consist of any variety of arena modes.

I have that same problem with the playlist Castle Crashers.
