quick mod question

i clicked subscribe for a mod from the steam workshop and loaded the game save i had and didn't seem to change at all, does nayone know what i did wrong and how to load it up ?

You can't play a fresh downloaded mod with an already existing save game.

To play a subscribed mod you have to go to the "Custom Dungeon" menu and "Choose" the mod you want to play. This will take you to a "New Game" screen where you can define difficulty setting, game mode and create a new party respectively import your old party. Finally hit "Apply" to play.
