Adding provinces to the HRE in 1.34

Hi, i got to be emperor of the HRE playing UK but to my surprise I cant seem to add provinces to the empire any longer, was not the case years ago, has this been changed? or does it have new rules I didnt see? thanks in advance

Adding provinces is now done via a button in the HRE window. It does not give any authority anymore though.

Thanks Zitrone, yes i read about the authority, you mean the main button in the middle bottom that says "add all provinces"? it doesn't allow me to add anything there, it says no eligible provinces and is dimmed, even though i have all of France and burgundy for instance. Hence there is no way to connect london to the empire anymore and is not possible to join the HRE even though I am the emperor. Very weird
