The few threads I found on this problem, I tried the ideas but they did not help. (well, all accept uninstalling steam or the game, and reloading them, because the last time I did that, with Skyrim, it created more headaches than I already had).

Anyway, I cannot seem to download any mods, except spartan, they seem to download, then it says transferring and stays in that mode. I figured the last update was for Civ;BE and not Skyrim because Skyrim was not screwed up more.

Any help with this issue would be great because I really want to play that new alien hybrid mod.

I have the sponsor graphics set to minimun, but I suppose that only helps if you are actually in the game.
