Do pre-Watcher mods work if Watcher content is disabled in Remix?

Bit of a dumb question here, as I have obtained both endings of the Watcher as of writing , but I'm wondering if the Watcher counts as just DLC or a full-fledged update. This is important because these kinds of official additions to games tend to break mods like twigs, and I'm curious if disabling Watcher would cause the mods to un-break.

New to RW modding here, so don't mock me too much.

Full fledged update. You can roll back in the betas tab, but many mods have already been updated to work with the latest version.
