Idea to facilitate cargo train stations
https://gall.dcinside.com/mgallery/board/view/?id=citiesskyline&no=51373
(Just seeing only screenshot is sufficient to understand my article.)

Instead of cargo traffic trails long, just using the parking area as a waiting zone to wait a cargo train seems plausible to me and it can significantly reduce the traffic that cargo carriers make.

Is here any mod that realize my idea? If it is, then how can I get that mod in the Steam Workshop?

No, cargo truck don't parking, if you want to make them for wait, you better to replace parking area to large road with 'S' build.

This thread is for my wish. I know that is not true in vanilla.

What everyone is trying to tell you is that offering delivery trucks parking space is a REALLY bad idea. Maybe learn how supply chain works in game as well as real life before you attempt to improve (facilitate) it. Your idea is just going to gum up the works.

To be fair trucks wait in a cue all the time for loading/unloading irl. It looks a lot like a parking lot. Managing that is often part of a dispatchers job.

As far as I know the only way of increasing the capacity of the cargo train terminals is by doubling the amount of entry and exit paths the trucks can use in the terminal. I designed a station that has two points of entry and exit but I haven't actually run any tests yet to see if the station processes double the amount of cargo but I haven't seen the usual traffic issues when using them.

What? bad idea? Maybe learn how supply chain works in game?
OP already explained the purpose of this topic and that is how it works in real life.
