REQUEST FOR MOD or for DEVELOPERS TO FIX THIS SPECIFICALLY. Do this game revives.
Have the Taladi go and trade between any factory in the game to your player owned stations so you dont have to go and try to farm the merchants long as you have coin with said architect. Ya keep the teladi warp points locked to travel til your past it in the campain so you cant go through teladi space til you unlock it or OR give you ability to go into the teladi areas but not able to go through teladi into the 3rd sector til you come from the far side. Would make it so could get stuff to make factory from the teladi and not break the campain.

OR Have (SOMEONE) the Teladi(suggestion) have a sub-faction of traders that work everywhere and are actually universal traders who will sell you what you need to make your factory. Have them be traders that warp to the different areas instead of going through the gates. Thats not a long stretch. And would fix the most basic aspect of the extremely broken trading that will ALWAYS remain broken as long as that is absent within The gameworld.

Yes the developers of the game wanted that so we had to go pirate and forced to hunt freighters to get what we need to build our factories. Yes it gives you one factory you have to build but if you dont have the base factory to build said stuff with miners to feed them it dont matter.

Other way to make this game playable is for egosoft to give mission that GIVES you a mining ship and a mission to build a factory that gives you the base materials so the people in the second area buy what they need to get the economy going in second area so the factories that they have around set up to build but no materials will start getting what it needs to do so.

THEN drop the bomb on needing the drone factory build.

What this does is simple.

Gives players a factory that is intricately tied into the second areas economy. Set the second area so that it can soon as you start building start putting in factories to fix its own economy itself so it starts balancing itself out and forcing you to have to protect said factory and your mining ships that are feeding it. Heck You could set it so your first factory makes it so that the ship factory starts building miners of its own. The one thing the second area completely lacks Doesn't have to be that many just 1 or 2 with one of them selling ore to your factory on occasion which builds more station materials and tada gives Devries a extremely SLOW but actually working economy.

OTHER solution that makes game easily Fixable. and will ask this in a second post.

Egosoft turning over full use of the mining ship to the player after mining mission is done.

Yes the game can be fixed that simply.

If the Campain has either Egosoft giving the freighter to you as a end game reward (Or add a Mod to have the miner Fly off and the second the miner is no longer attached to the code of the campain. Get a simple Message. Something along the line of. "Mining Ship (blah blah) Ready for next assignment." (then turns ship over to player) the PLAYER themselves can go to The ship builder buy the station factory ship. The player can send the miner off and have it supply the first factory you build on your own. and then continue the campain and get the build the drone factory after. It makes no sense for you to get that factory first at all and breaks the campain to force you to have to pirate. This would FIX the campain. Simply having the ability to have a miner that runs on its own to sell ore to give Devries the means to start to be self sufficient. Would fix the campain simply and beautifully. As it stands X Rebirth is a advertisement for Star Citizen before it comes out and I bought this to play a X Series game. So Gives us a X series Game. So very easy to fix and egosoft are being (Excuses himself from using terms his mother would not approve of) in not doing this simple fix.
