So is it just me, or are there a lot of things missing fro mthe map editor?
Looking over the terrains and such, it seems liek a lot of key things are not avaiable to be placed when eding the map in the mission editor. Terrains, rocks etc, all missing.

Yeah, all missing. Unfortunately I dont think kalypso have any plans on releasing it onto the mission editor either.

Only way to get them is when a random map is generated

I also have a thread about the game's editor. The scattered animals and volcano cones for volcanoes...never get saved after building a map, so any volcanoes generated by the editor will stop working once you save and upload it to the workshop.
My thought...is they are saving the rocks and other cherry-items for themselves, thinking we might make scanarios better than their DLC maps.

More likely the editor is just a half ass job.

They are working on Tropico6. I sent an email to their support group, they said they would pass along my ideas to the dev. team. Which means forget the game editor it is what it is. For whatever rerason they have ripped it appart.

I hope they break away from the usual Tropico and provide a fully moddable game in 6. It is what people have been asking for, yet they have refused to provide (likelyIMO because the suits think it will cut into their DLC money).
