The responsibility of properly labeling, configuring, and attributing assets in the workshop falls on the creator who uploads them. Something to remember is that not only is the workshop 100% free, but many assets were created from scratch in the artist's spare time. We have given your community tools to review assets, see their download sizes, and easily test them in your maps. Not only that, but you can use the asset importer to upload and configure custom assets for yourself. If you're unhappy with the state of the assets in the workshop, I suggest you avoid them and stick with the stock assets on hand.
