Workshop Level error

There is an error with loading Steam Workshop levels from the selection screen. Whenever I click the "Browse Workshop Levels" button, frequently, the levels don't show up, and the game doesn't even update my subscriptions. Instead, it keeps me with the default levels. And if I start a game with the "Browse Workshop Levels" button pressed, whenever I go back, the "Open Workshop" button appears but doesn't do anything. Can anyone help?
