Mod Request - EXP Gain Mod
Soft cap is the low 30's for completionists. Using XP gain mods in the past have caused some major issues with the games interior boolean math on loot tables, I've yet to find an XP mod that actually does what it's supposed to do. Case and point, I used a mod with 80% XP gain to allow you to hit level cap around the last planet (lvl 45 when you would be lvl 22) while my characters were lvl 45, the xp table behind the games code marked me as 22 for all loot drops and the personal light saber crystal. The game looked at XP earned and not level of PC. In this case the mod lowered the XP threshold needed to level and did not boost the over all xp gain.
using cheat engine/kse leaves a similar issue it changes the xp, but not the xp gained tally for the games coded math. A mod that safely alters XP gain properly would be welcome.

note, hitting 14 before you get to telos, will forever keep you from getting a prestige class. YOU MUST NOT HIT 14 ON PERAGUS

You know, I still fail to see the point of trying to hit 50. It's not like there's anything useful to take after 30. You oneshot most enemies either way. Having all those extra powers is nothing but a pain whenever you need to scroll through them all to cast Master Speed / Force Storm.
enemies scale, they make most of their saving throws, min maxing would be the reason I guess You could make a no XP gain mod and beat the game as a level 1 since everything scales.
Why do I want to be lvl 50? Solo game runs, requiring non class skills, min max stats, more feats etc...
I also don't play on normal, normal is way way too easy, I play on difficult, and it's not even that bad. In a game where the NPC's scale to your level, getting to 50 where the gear table stops at 29, actually makes it harder

Still not feeling it. But might be just me - I don't see the extra hp/damage/saving throws as difficulty. It's just cranking up numbers, not actual challenge. Combat is still exactly the same, it'll just take longer. When it comes to challenge, I'ld rather play/pvp in Dark Souls or work on soloing raid bosses in Borderlands.
Just my opinion.

As a console player who has been playing Kotor Vanilla for over a decade, the reason you wanna be max level is because there's loot in the game that you cant even get until you are level 45. Yall have never pulled Darth Malak's armor? You have to be level 45 to even have a chance of pulling it. Plus the game is so much more fun at higher levels.

It really opens up what kind of builds you can do. I'm talking I had a LS Consular that had 30 Consular Levels, and 20 Master levels at the start of the game (by doing the hssiss glitch which takes hours of your time to do and has to be done right but does get you max level your first planet after Telos). You know what that looks like statistically? I had 40+ Wisdom, over 60 Will, I have a FP Pool of 1000 while still having a HP Pool of 700.

It made the game fun because what most people don't realize is your companions always stay a few level below you, so if you want everyone to be level 50 you have to take yourself to level 50 and then farm another 3-4 Million Xp otherwise they will only be level 47, facing off against level 50 NPCS. Its a whole other beast guys and I would love to be able to experience it again on PC for the first time.

You can do the Hssiss Glitch and achieve it but it takes 8-10 hours of farming to get it done, and you the TLSRCM patches the glitch so you are forced to play it vanilla in order to do it.

I recently stopped using TSLRCM because I miss the janky-ness of the vanilla game like all the exploits you can do.
Also to me, I find TSLRCM to be overrated. Yeah it fixes allot of stuff, but it's still not as amazing as everyone makes it out to be. Praising it like it's god's gift to KOTOR 2
