And yes, I think the prob is going to be the ranged combat because in games like that, the player mouse-clicks the opponent and it auto-fires. I know ppl play Diablo I and II with controllers and apparently, it's much better that way--which makes sense.
Also, mouse movement for this kind of game still feel super awkward lol. Sometimes the cursor feel not fast enough, other times not slow enough. These problems never appear if you simply use an actual mouse to play the game.
I think we shall have to do some mucking about with them to get a workable compromise in gameplay.

I know ppl play Diablo with controllers all the time. Wonder how they worked that out?
I swapped LT=' for LT=Ctrl on my current TL2 profile and messed around with it. Holding A (LMB ) to run feels less natural than holding LT but I don't really miss the former setup. When playing TL2 using KBM I never used ' button anyway.
