Hey there.

I've recently bought the game on the steam version, but I can't seem to be able to access modding at all anymore.
Whenever I subscribe to any mods, steam does not download them. When I go into the in-game mod section, this is what pops up:

Steam Workshop
Downloading Mods
X percent

the game continues to download mods even though I don't see any mods in the mods folder at all, and when it reaches 100 percent, it only shows the screecher mod and one other mod. I can't even use the screecher mod as it crashes my game when I try to play it. (The mod in question is Better Moon: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=292558919)


I've tried clearing the download cache, unsubbing and resubbing, subbing to mods one by one, setting update priority to high, verifying file integrity, reinstalling the game, repairing steam folder and practically all the fixes I could find on the internet but none of them have worked. I have yet to find a case like mine.
