Even Civ 6 has gotten a mod for cheating in single player by this point. Why hasn't Beyond Earth received something similar?

I'm tired of trying to play on the lowest difficulty setting, hoping to take my time and enjoy the game, just for my neighbors to roll up on my borders with a surprisingly powerful army, while my fully upgraded soldiers can't seem to do more than piss them off.
