One thing I really liked about Rimworld was the ability to plop your poor folks down anywhere randomly and deal with what you find.

I'd like the option to do so in Dwarf Fortress through the 'Find Location' interface.

e.g. Something that allows us to input our starting requirements and instead of hundreds of places (green region overlay), give us the option to narrow it down to one randomly chosen location that fits the limitations we've input into the 'Find Location' interface. Include, perhaps an extra modifier to have the location be within x distance of the chosen faction's capitol.

Not sure if this is doable, but I'd highly appreciate that little tweak. Thank you.
