Any good mods that don't break the game?
I'm looking for several good mods, but so far i've found primarily crappy, gamebreaking mods. I understand why this appeals to some people, and i had a bit of fun with it, but now it's just OLD. All i can find in terms of weapons are some waaaay too uber ones that simply make level 50 in endless a piece of cake. Same problem with traps. Has anyone had any success with this?

I personally haven't used that many mods beyond the Overly Extreme and Nananea's collections. If it's just weapons that you find too powerful, you could try even it out by subbing to a mod that empowers the Horde. The Overly Extreme collection has two Orc related mods, one boosting their numbers and the other increasing their health and speed. Another collection, by the name of "Gatekeeper Architect: BLACK LABEL", has some interesting looking mods, so you could look there.

If this doesn't seem helpful, I apologise: All I can really do is point in a very vague direction and hope I'm making any sense.

I didn't even think of that... well now don't I feel silly! Thanks, I'm enjoying the one that increases mob numbers, and balancing it with a few less powerful trap modifications. I'll check out the collection, and again thank you much!
I have the same problem as the original poster. I know there are also some mods that insanely increase enemy powers. But they do so wholesale. Same with the "booster" mods: Weapons / traps are just insanely overpowered! So it can take hours to experiment with combinations that just about re-establish some sense of balance. But that is painstaking work, and I don't feel it adds much fun to the game. I would prefer mods that, taken alone, just give me a small (dis-)advantage instead of toppling the balance of the game altogether. There should be more mods available that try to keep a balance by strengthening one aspect and weakening another, or that add unpredictable random effects to keep the game dangerous while adding some hilarious havoc to it.
I have found a nice mod selection for co-op when one plays the woman and one plays the man.

15 mods all in all:

A)

2 mods for the woman:

- fright wand | make them live in fear!
- slave leia sorceress skin

B)

2 mods for for man:

- random effect grenade
- orcus triumphatorum skin (replaces "orcskin")

C)

4 mods for both characters:

- icy bladestaff
- jedi jazz hands
- playing with fire | because fire is fun!
- "rusty old stone spring trap" (spring trap mod) (operation wolf_hastenichgesehn)

D)

3 mods for the enemies / environment:

- three times mob count
- slow but deadly gnoll hunters ~ hunters stun but can run slow~
- improved minecarts

E)

4 mods for the guardians:

- hammer guardian
- cyclops mage guardian
- swamp troll guardian
- augmented autoballista
