Have a fully updated Steam edition of CC, then subscribe to a workshop mod.
Or alternatively have the latest non-Steam version and download a mod from forums.datarealms.com.

I've done that, Im on a mac, I've subscribed to multiple mods, but every time I fire up the game they do NOT show up.

I think you need to use a different method for to install mods on a mac. I never used one myself so I can't help you but I think there are several help threads on the datarealms forums. If you google "cortex command mods mac" or something they should show up.

That´s rather silly, to open for Workshop on CC before it fully works. I expect it to be a one click install when I use Workshop. Not a ´folder and files copy/paste hassle´!

Ughh.. -.-

Nvm, I got it fixed now.

The mac build has not been updated yet, which is why they aren't loading directly on there. It is a one-click on windows, and will be on mac as well when we update it. Until then, you can still manually download the mod and unzip into the install folder

If you could accept my friend request, there have been a few minor bugs on cortex command that I'd like to inform you about, I wanted to see if these are fixable, I've dug through every C.C. file, even recoded a few of them to improve my games effeciency, and now there's a game-destroying issue.

hi, sorry about the trouble; why not go ahead and post them in a discussion thread?

Every time I fire C.C. Up, Whenever I start a mission, the game is permanently stuck in slow motion, literally, nothing works, The actors freeze multiple times while in slow-mo, its extremely difficult to even enjoy the game anymore.

try unsubscribing from all mods and see if the problem is still there?
also, use the tilde key ~ (left of the [1] key) to open the console and report any errors you see in there

Im not using workshop mods, I've dragged ZIP files to the folder from the Datarealms forums and installed them myself.

I seem to be having an issue here as well, when I subscribe to a mod, Steam says it's downloaded the workshop content, but the file is never actually placed into the CC folder anywhere. I'm running a Windows 7 computer, up to date and everything. So far the game works, but it dosent even check to see if there is workshop content that needs to be downloaded, or run. So far, the only way I can get mods to work is by using the "old fasioned way" of getting them from the Fan Forums, and applying them to the folder.

Sorry about the trouble, guys.. very perplexing. Do you end up with anything in your WorkshopMods folder in the game install dir?

Nope, its as if nothing happens. I've tried reinstalling the game more than once, and tired to verify the game cache, but neither of those things work. I'm happy still getting mods from the forums, but I thought it'd be convienent to try out the workshop, slightly less work.
