Mods with Hoplite Variations?
Playing vanilla Rome 2 as Epirus or Athens made me realize the base hoplites are pretty much the same. They may differ slightly in stats of the base hoplite but is there a mod that makes the greek factions have a unique hoplite or reason to play as them? Thank you for your time.

How come?
The advantage of pike is it does not even let enemies get in contact against pike.

If they try, they get braced.it has better range than hoplites.

This is like complaining that all factions in Shogun 2 have samey units. It’s Greeks dude, what did you expect. In fact, Massilia and Cimmeria having different hoplites makes no sense historically because it’s the same guys with the same shields wielding the same spears, across the entire Hellenistic world

If you look for more variety you should try the "divide et impera" mod. It improves every aspect of the game.

Parabellum is also a good option, it has a wide variety of submods, variety in the skins of the units and offers some very good artwork to the loading screen and the Ui

There used to be a good Hoplite mod "Classical Greek Hoplites" that gave several unique Hoplites. But, steam removed the mod. I've been trying to track down a off steam download to no avail.
