Report a translation problem
Stereo is 2D sound (UI sounds, soundtrack, stuff that only YOU should hear) while mono is 3D sound. (monster sounds, gunfire, etc. stuff that gets affected by range, walls and direction)

hey fella, i turned the audio into mono but aparently now it doesnt plays in-game. did i skip something? back in stereo it played, but i need it in mono
