Help fixing a save I broke after manually installing a mod.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Reposting this here after having some difficulty manually installing a mod.

***Ugh, I got everything restored but now when I try to load in it says

"Failed to find compatible mod:
CaZsm's Squad Icons 0.1.1"

I updated that mod during this save to 0.2.1 just fine and now it's throwing me this error idk wth to do.

Nothing in the logs.

It seems like it is because even though it was updated on the save it's attached to the old version somehow.***

I can't just restore the file to a previous version, I messed up backing the folders up too.

The mod you installed went through a name change, so it's possible this may have disconnected the mod from your save. Probably a mistake on my part.

If you can find the mod directory, you might be able to fix it by changing the mod ID in the info txt file to its previous name.

[ID:cazsm_squad_icons]

Oi! Sorry for bumping here three years later, but I guess I'm having the same issue

"Failed to find compatible mod:
Squad & Burrow Icons 0.2.1"

steam/DF mod folder: 2898973979
data/installed_mods: cazsms_squad_burrow_symbols (5005)
info.txt (on both): [ID:cazsms_squad_burrow_symbols]

I tried renaming the ID (of both) to [ID:cazsm_squad_icons] but it's still not working

Also, I deleted both, unsub-resubscribe it, and the error persists sadly
