HL:ALYX Workshop crashes before start up

So far. . . . . I've verified the files twice, uninstalled and reinstalled the workshop, removed all add-ons, Uninstalled and reinstalled the workshop again Uninstalled and re-installed the entire GAME of HL ALYX of which took a further two hours over and above the previous eight hours. Oh and tried to start Workshop from local files via admin but the windows command prompt but that's not working either. The actual game of HL ALYX is playable. It just seems to be the Workshop tools that's buggered.

I'm at my whits end and just want to make some lame ass add ons not feel like a frigging super hacker trying to just get the damn thing working.

It's sooooo anoying I get more ideas for maps when I can't get access . . . . . . Arrrrrrrgh fiddlesticks ! ! ! ! !

Unfortunately no. . . I ended up installing it into my older machine. A 10 year old Server computer with RAM continuously being detected and then undetected. It runs perfectly well on that but not my new machine. I haven't been using it lately though I've been side tracked with other things just as useless and time consuming.
