Instantly dying in sub test

I'm trying to test a sub design but whenever I start testing it in the editor, I fall over and explode from pressure nearly immediately despite having no water in the sub. Did I do something wrong?

Did you make hulls? There may be small spaces between them so zoom in and make sure your hulls are touching (no 1 pixel empty space between them). They do not need to overlap, just have no 'water' space between them.
