External mods
Could external mods (stuff like PortalVR) be on the workshop? Seeing asset overrides on the workshop makes me wonder if its possible

If PortalVR has custom binaries, then no.

You can override any file the game loads, except for binaries. This includes:
- Scripts (*.nut, *.as)
- models
- sounds
- sound scripts
- textures
- maps
(probably some others im forgetting)
