Any need-to-have mods that popped up in the past year or so?
I've been thinking of getting back into the game just to vibe out and build stuff, so I wanna trim my modlist for performance and add some need-to-haves that I haven't heard of.

There are many internal blocks and machine blocks, and even for the same machine, the internal configuration is different for each DLC. Therefore, when you subscribe to a blueprint and paste a ship, if the DLC used by the creator is not installed, the block will be excluded, so it is better to purchase the DLC rather than finding the excluded block and making it additionally.

Otherwise, you can check the DLC used by the blueprint creator and purchase only the DLC you need.
If you purchase the necessary DLC every time you subscribe to a blueprint, you will end up purchasing all the DLC.

I was asking about mods, not DLC.
Got it.
I thought mods were DLC.
Since the creators needed the same DLC they used to implement the blueprints or world save files, I interpreted your question about required mods as a question about DLC needed to implement the blueprints or world save files.

You asked about useful blueprints.
Got it.

I am using Google Translate.
I am from a country where the word 'mode' is used in many different ways, so I interpreted it differently than you intended.
Please understand that this is a cultural difference in language.
