How to get rid of the issue with not a valid supported image (usually be a .jpg image) with ProtonDB Linux, crashing the game
I play on a linux computer and have to use ProtonDX to play the game, ever since I played it I could never really play campaign as the autosaving or reloading save makes my game crash.

BUT after days of trying stuff out, I found the way on how to play campaign on linux.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I TRIED LITERALLY RANDOM STUFF AND IT JUST WORKED, IF ONE OF MY STEPS CAN BE AVOIDED TO MAKE THE GAME WORK IT'S TOTALLY NORMAL.

Follow those steps carefully if you want to use my way of playing the campaign on Proton:

- Change to Proton 9.x (if not done already)
- Start the game in safe mode (with mods, idk if it changes anything with the other option)
- When the main menu starts, press F11 (to activate recording, a little red flicking square should appear on top left of the screen)
- Go in singleplayer
- Go in skirmish -> Local -> Create
- When in the map list, just click on 1-3 random maps
- Go back to singleplayer menu
- If you want to load a save, go ahead, it should work.
- If you want to start a campaign, go ahead, it should work.
- As you loaded your game, you can disable recording by pressing again F11. REMEMBER THAT WHENEVER YOU WILL NEED TO OPEN YOUR SAVES IN THE PAUSE MENU TO ALWAYS REACTIVATE F11 BEFORE DOING SO!

If you have any issues, PLEASE do not send messages to me and don't expect me to answer your questions in the discussion feed.
