Is there a way to get reflective materials in the editor to work? I keep trying to make an object silver and reflective and it comes out black everytime.

There is a Metallic property on the material that is zero by default.
Maybe using a light gray material with a high Metallic value will give the result you want.

I tried that. Unfortunately it was resulting in a black item with a metallic sheen.
