So, whenever I apply a material in the index for the submaterial tool, it works normally. but whenever i noclip away and fly back, it's materials are not seen physically. but the materials are shown to be applied in the index.

for some reason, it only works when i go in multiplayer.
i've verified the integrity of my game files twice, unsubscribed and resubscribed from my addons, and i've tried the process of elimination. nothing has worked.
it worked only once, but i have no idea as to what fixed it, so don't bother asking about that.
