Noob CS2 skin creator in need of 3d Skin maker advice...
First I realise that modelling in blender was a bit of a mistake - because you cant use the actual model - but I want to use the materials and the placement of elements...

I had problems with baking from Blender - first of all - I took the m4a4-s model - and split apart most of the sections. I added some booleans, and added a few elements to the design. I have all the materials done. Probably falls into gunsmith or anodized - anyway - the problem I have is when I join all the elements back together the UV is now completely different from the original - which is causing problems with the bake and placement in the workshop tools.

I think that because Ive messed with the model - exporting these details is problematic.

Also when I bake the UV I have to take all the metallics out, otherwise they bake to black. So when Im in the tools, I cant get the right metallic colours to the different parts...

Anyway - Is there a better way of getting what I have in Blender to work in tools so that it it looks the same?

Thanks!
