blender open a general file then remove everything from the scene then go to file import then obj. file then select any gun that u want to make a skin for once the open u want to go to materials then create a new material for the gun put a name to it so u don't lose it name it skin or whatever u like it be then go to the image editor where u going to create new image give a name set the size to 2048 x 2048 then go to the shader editor make sure ur one the correct material called skin whatever u name the material Click Shift-A to make a pop-up appear then place a image texture connect the color to the base color of the skin then then use the little pictogram to select the texture once that done go to 3d view again then go to the texture painting tab then go on edit mode press A on your keyboard to select everything then u can go back to the texture paint now all of the parts are show in the texture now make ur own design now save the image the u made save as and remeber where u save the image now go to vtfedit if u want and import ur texture leave all the settings alone wait for to load go to file and export it and save the new tga file to be able to see the skin u made u need to enable workshop tools open CS2 go to settings then go to game the look for install counter strike workshop tools to "yes" now relauch cs2 and select the workshop tools then cilck launch workshop item tools click the folder icon called gunsmith go to gs_paintkit_example then cilck the folder icon next to the abledo texture then it pop up file explorer on the top go to content/csgo/materials then make a new folder and name it custom in that custom folder we place the tga file generated by the vtfedit program or if u use blender put in the folder as well after that u can go back to the select the gun to put our skin on we select the albedo texture to materials/custom/thenameofyourskin.tga when that done ur go scroll for effects to mess with it if u want if u want to inspect ur skin go to the top right and press on in it or preview it will show ur skin on the game window if u want to publish the skin go back to the workshop and hit the pubilsh button and the top right will pop up a other screen hit the plus icon and will pop up a other screen give a name and a description to add a image go to the game screen and position it the gun what u want it to look like then go back to the pubilsh tab and hit capture and got to the visbilty to the skin to put to public and hit submit and ur done now to check if it pubilsh go to the workshop and go to my files and u will see ur skin and your done.
