I have information that will help. I don't know the specific lessons. Here is the information:

RTCW uses its own simple scripting language.

RTCW is a game written in pure C programming language.

.ai .script .shader files are text documents.

.dll are compiled along with .exe

.bsp and .ass are compiled along with .exe

.tga are images

.bsp is a compiled .map

Netradiant-Custom is a program for modding RTCW.
