body panels for workshop cars

i recently downloaded some cars from the workshop and messed around with them in game. but i ran into a problem. when i got one of the cars, and the body panels were at a lower percentage, i couldn't buy new ones, but i could take the body panels off and repair them. but sometimes, they would break when i tried to repair them. does anyone have a solution?

Yeah, the parts for workshop mods are in a separate store. You need to go to the Community shop for those parts. Edit: In the game... stores menu, lower right hand corner.
