Posting here, because of length. This has been a confusing mess for me too, and I appreciate your efforts on what has to be an edge case.

First, I'm going to cover some random facts that may or may not be relevant, just in case.

1. I do not have Siptah.

2. The game was started as a Co-op, but after the other players left, I continued it; the game asks if I want to play co-op unless I click "continue" at the loading screen.

3. The original error message I got during the Mod selection screen was a yellow exclamation mark and text to the effect that the mod was made with a more recent version of the devkit than the game; maybe from TestLive. That I alone would get that message makes no sense.

4. So....prior to the hotfix, I tried validating my game files and reloading the mod, even rebooting the computer. No change. That was the case up until this afternoon (even after the hotfix!)

Now things get really weird.

5. As of a few minutes ago, when I went to take a screenshot, I no longer get that message. Now it is not an error msg, but a check mark with "This mod has been created with the latest available version of the devkit, it should not cause any crash due to incompatibility." (My poor deceased English teacher is spinning in her grave over the comma splice error in that sentence. She hated those with a passion. Automatic F.)

6. Because the error msg changed, I decided to unsub and resub to the mod. The mod now works... but ONLY if the follower is actively following me. If it isn't, I bump into it. This suggests that it might have some relation to any changes you made today.

As I suspect I'm a rare edge case, if you can't resolve it, I'll live. It's a cool QoL mod and I thank you for your efforts in creating it, but running down a bug such as this has got to be frustrating.
