Textures for Xenosteel Blocks
Hi ...i was looking for a way more normal/steel looking textures for the Xenosteel blocks. Is there any way or any package/mod that puts new or the basic steel looks/textures for Xenosteel too?

Playing on RE2.

Clad them in carbon substrate blocks. They're light, cheap, and use standard hull block textures. They also let you use whole cubes for maximum block health without compromising the overall look.

Same advice for any interior armor sections, though it does mean they'll be larger. You can substitute a few sathium blocks in areas where you just don't have enough room.
Thank you but sadly i aim to build my ships as small and maneuverable as possible so i usually dont have the needed space for an extra layer but the idea itself is a good one.
Texture file is locked and unable to be modded. Also according to devs - no more textures can be added anyway. If, for example, textures were replaced by modders, it could have knock on effect for existing blueprints, as those textures being replaced, would also be replaced on existing designs etc. So they have stated that they would not allow the texture file to be altered.
Aww alright thats sad ...well they could set an option for xenosteelblocks to use the other textures the non Xenosteel blocks use too though. Basicly just using the other textures already included.

Anyway ,thank you for your answer too. I will have to do with the ones no matter ho wmuch i dislike them.
The only thing you can do is change what texture set they use, so instead of the xeno texture set you could change it to the steel set.
But like mentioned that would mess up any blueprint that was already using them since they'd have entirely different textures.

You'd do this by making your own custom scenario.
