Reforged Eden 2 Combat Site question
I'm on the T3 Combat Site where it's a Syndicate Munition Depot with a pair of POIs on either side projecting a shield around it.

How does it actually work? All the other combat sites I've done so far had an actual 'end point' where I would get a reward, but I've taken out at least 10 CVs at this point and it feels like I'm just wasting ammo and pentaxid. I destroyed the two side bases and lowered the shield, took out the turrets in the depot, and have looted the room up near the crane, as well as looted all the containers inside the main area. Is there supposed to be some end point or do I just leave when I get bored? Are the reinforcements just unlimited?

There's only 2 reinforcement waves, I think it's 2 ships that each spawn when you take out an outpost.
There aren't anywhere near 10 ships total.

If you're playing a different scenario or on a server you need to contact the author of that scenario or your server admin as they may have changed things.

I just added this to the bug report:
Patrol vessels spawned via the PDA may instantly respawn as soon as their core is destroyed. This is an unreported game bug. Either disable the patrol vessels while leaving their core intact or leave the area.

Ah. So the behavior that I saw was that for the first two ships that appeared, I crippled them but didn't core them right away, and then set about taking apart the two side bases and taking out the turrets on the depot itself.

After that, I went to core the reinforcement ships and add salvage cores to start salvaging them, and then they despawned a few seconds later. When the second one despawned (the Jammer Frigate), another ship spawned in instantly. After that, every time I took out the reinforcement ship, as soon as it despawned a few seconds after coring, another one instantly jumped in.

It didn't seem like it was respawning, though. Or at least, it wasn't the same ship each time. It seemed to be randomly alternating between the assault frigate and the jammer frigate.

Well, same thing. It's a game bug.
