how do you know if they are bad or broken

asset dont break, if it doesnt work there are some possibilities:
- you missing required additional asset
- you missing dlc
- the author crew up the model
mods, use SkyVe to check compatibility and follow it's advice
that will be fine in mosts cases
don't use NEXT2 doesnt matter what SkyVE said btw
