yea, don't play mods. mods, in my opinion, keep getting trounced out of playability with seemingly weekly updates. Im certain someone with better mod compatibility will come along and give you better answers but, I never use mods and can always play.

I've a collection made if you'd like. Can take out a bunch of mods for stability sake but I'm well over 700 years in my play-through. Load order is the hardest part to get right or it never works I've found

I was playing LTR realms in exile mod and for im like lets go back to Game of thrones so i did, plus i found a new mod for game of thrones and now i cant even play the mod.

UNLESS you freeze time.

Download the mod set, download the game version you want, stick all of that in a file under some different name. NOW your game and mods will remain untouched for you to play, replay, and finish any saved games until the files corrupt.

i already know that but i dont want to keep my game at an older version just dont use mods until its finished simple much easier and less messing about for myself also eventually the mod would be updated to the latest version which then auto update if from workshop so you would have no choice but to update anyways unless you manually add the files from a different source which again is just a lot of messing about

and is there some reason you dont have 8 yrs? why would how long a game takes to finish even matter if you dont want to mess about like I dont then just wait until its finished if you do want to mess about then do it nobody is stopping you,,does my comment/opinion on mods before finished somehow prevent you from making your own decision about using mods?
