Fantastic Client-Side Mods and where to find them
Ok, simple question: How do i tell which Workshop Mods are Client-Side, and which ones are not?

Until recently i assumed that this game does load all its mods serverside. But after noticing that the sound mod i had did not load for my online mate, i realized that some mods are clearly only on one end.

Does this affect every workshop mod? (excluding those where you have to move around files yourself ofc)

Or in other words, can i use the femboy incubus mod without shame? :cozyjunimogreen:

Generally client-side for most, textures and sounds will be client-side. Unless it modifies something like maps or .json data files may desync at points if not everyone has them loaded.

ah thanks! i assume there's no way to be sure without checking files or trying it out.

so, will those that dont work purely client-side just be applied for both the host and the person joining, or would they have to manually install it themselves regardless?

Manually installed regardless for the most part.
