I tinkered around stuff and managed to make a nightime cemetary deathmatch map
I think I know where to put the int and ini files+preview image hmm a new map for workshop might happen if I get it working properly as so far so good with placing a few pickups and pathnodes around the place play and the enemies spawn from the pathnodes and they chase me so I guess its working anyhow I need to play more of rooks to know more about it:)
I played combat chess in the editor 1st ever try at combat chess and i beat it 1st go checkmate
bummer i didnt do it in the game as missed the achievement for it:)
couldnt get combat chess map to display in the game menu but deathmatch works:)
as for rust its the same as vcd upload tool nice:)
had trouble installing the testpit as the game refused to unpack and install it so I unpacked zip file and it works now:)
I might have to find time to do that, and the other sections for the VCD guide.

I am planning some kind of castle or dungeon map
might see if an automatic draw bridge works and maybe see if can build an elevator as might give little keep a dungeon is easy to use automatic touch events!
im more likely to build a catapault than a lift as suitable lift would be something that goes in and out of the ground like a rizing arena as not interfere with enemy paths much/is nice when prevent camping can take care of things in big maps:)
pathnodes seem a mystery but seem to be able to get enemies to follow paths/work like the other levels do as I noticed they are spaced out in a grid pointing the same way in some levels:)
the blank cube static mesh is very handy for new walls floors etc apply a material to it so no bsp brushes:)
my new Stonehenge deathmatch map works well the enemies chase me everywhere:) jus gotta decorate it some more trees n stuff and the nice thing I like about Rooks keep is I can use my deathmatch map to make a chess one out of it 1 mod makes 2:)
fiddling with the terrain editor on new terrain so far got a good landscape/more grass n things to add:)
Little keep has hand rails and other objects that prevent the camera clipping through the walls on the right hand side of the player while turning/walking left as players camera points to right bit more than the left does/not quite centred like it is in VCD:)
creating a night map lighting is tricky:)
