Mask partially not showing up

I just recently bought the game and have a glitch with the steam masks. There is a ryoku mask in the Steam Workshop called "Jack Of Blades Mask" by the user Jequito that I really want to wear; however, every time that I try to put it on, it seem to only partially place the mask on my face. What I mean by that is some parts of my face the mask is on, while other parts of my face don't have it on, and I see the skin. It's really weird. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it?

the characters recently got face model updates so most workshop masks dont fit anymore. the authors have to fix them themselves or have others fix them with permission etc
