XCOM 2
Welcome to the Resistance
Create your own aliens, weapons, maps, and other content to expand the XCOM2 universe
Steam keeps downloading mods i've unsubscribed and deleted, every time i download a new mod.
So like the title says I've been trying to recreate my mod list for the past 4 days, but these 139 additional mods keep on downloading on any subscription after i delete them from aml or from the workshop page, or subscription page. I've wiped xcom once already and the config and workshop content folder as well. nothing has been working. help please.

Not sure if this may help, but I had a problem where I could not remove a mod, it was stuck in my mod list. I installed the Steam Beta and by using it under properties I was able to permanently remove/delete the mod. Go to:

Steam / Settings / Interface

Client Beta Participation

Select the Steam Beta Update and follow instructions.

Then go to game properties / workshop and remove the mods from there.

Good luck.

A little 'feedback' would be good so others with the same issue might know what solves the issue...

yeah, so i tried doing that you said and had it working for a sec, went to bed and opened it the next day and bam same issue. I'm going to post my latest crash log file. Also one last thing, works completely without mods, but as soon as they're enabled, crash log.

Did you actually go to the XCOM2 game 'properties' (right click on the game in your library and select 'properties', then when there select workshop. The unsubscribe icon for the mods in that window looks like a 'trash can', just checking if you were in fact at the right place and not in the normal Steam Workshop. Also if using AML make sure the mods are deleted there so as not to re-install.

Also check your "Install or repair Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable". I'm not an expert but your crash dump looks like it had many problems and unable to install Visual C++ components.
