Ok hear me out. granted the modding and the tools are limited for it. is there a possible means as in to refit an existing faction with previously existing model? the models, skins, tools, everything for the units are already in game.

was thinking someone cooooould theoretically speaking say wipe clear the DAK roster, add in the Italian units with some German fill ins. some units could be copy pasted for new fill ins like pioneers or snipers for example copy the lancerii and apply it over the truppioneer. just to fill in the void of faction balancing. the sounds already exist in the files too.

granted more wishful thinking is the head gear could be switched about idk. not sure on the possibilities on the name of factions or face plate abilities to be changed accordingly. All in all that could be a possible "italian army" faction mod
