I'm ready to ragequit!
Every time I revisit this game, I have to go through and try to fix mods again. This time, I literally spent about four six hour sessions going through the mods, making sure they were all working. My character pool looks good. So, I decide to add some more. I added about twenty new voice and cosmetic mods....and....now my Polish and Russian voices are gone. IT Crowd voices? GONE!!! Just disappeared! AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I go back and delete the twenty new mods. verify integrity of game, disable and enable mods restart pc. Nothing helps. Voices still missing. As a last desperate attempt, I'm reinstalling this game. If that doesn't work, I may just walk away from this game for good...

Unless anyone has any advice.

Someone else recommended some alternative mod launcher. That thing is horrendous! Every deleted mod just....stays there to pollute the list. There are so many options in that launcher. Just no option to delete a mod. Ridiculous.

AAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I am so frustrated!!!

Right-click on a mod in AML, select "delete". It will unsubscribe you on Steam and delete the mod folder and you will no longer see it. Just unsubscribing on Steam does not delete the mod folder which is why you still see them in AML.

When you are changing mods between playthroughs you should delete your configs and regenerate, if you haven't done that it may fix your problem. Documents - My Games - XCOM 2 War of the Chosen - Xcomgame - Config. Just delete the content of the folder. Then launch the game (this regenerates configs), exit. Launch again - now mods will be active. Some mods require a 3rd restart, so to be on the safe side exit and relaunch again.
